Robert Watkins

Robert Watkins is a Packaging and Transportation Program Manager at the Savannah River Site.  He has 32 total years experience at the Savannah River Site (SRS).  Over the past 23 years at SRS he has worked in the field of radioactive material packaging and transportation, including managing several site organizations.  He has extensive operational experience in shipping nuclear materials using a variety of Type A and Type B shipping containers at SRS and across the DOE Complex.  Robert holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.  Robert’s first CTMA was in 2010, Portland, Oregon and since that time has attended, supported, or led the conference during the years it was held.
